Lakewood Riding Club De-spooking Clinic, May 6, 2007 : Photos VERY graciously taken by Ginny Furness as a last minute idea -- kudos to her for figuring out my new camera so quickly and getting some nice shots! Thank you, Ginny! This was a clinic put on by the board members of the Lakewood Riding Club in Colorado, at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. A great venue, nice and warm on a rather chilly day in May (yes, it snowed at my house that day and the day before too!) All the horses seemed to be under control, and everyone was very pleased with themselves and their horses!

Quadrille Practice, September, 2005 : Karen and Wayne Muhler hosted us at their new arena near Brighton. Ginny Furness took all the quadrille photos with my new fast telephoto lens, so they came out really well. Later ones of individuals riding, starting with Ethan and Song, were all taken by me.

Mira Vista Ranch -- Victor Vargas : I spent the afternoon at Victor Vargas's stable in Longmont, where he put on a display of his beautiful Spanish and Spanish cross horses. Unfortunately, his newest stallion at the time, Dominguero, was indisposed, so I was unable to get any photos of this fabulously moving stallion from Luis Calderon.

Quadrille Clinic -- February 20, 2005 : RMIHC members got together to practice their first quadrille with Frances Carbonnel, dressage instructor and PRE owner. 14 members rode and several auditors braved the cold arena and saw some exceedingly good work for mostly novice quadrille riders. They were "threading the needle" at the trot, and we had stallions, mares and geldings all present! A great group!
