September 6, 2006: Ginny and I went to work our horses in the big arena at Bear Creek -- LOTS going on!!! Got a little exciting at times... I worked Xino in hand, doing shoulder-ins, and also on the lunge with one side rein (THAT was when it got exciting!) Then we took the two horses for a walk in the park, tested the waters of the creek (no, thank you!) and then turned Xino loose in the arena to let off some steam. He was so wound up that it took me 20 minutes to get him settled comfortably in the trailer -- there was just too much going on outside and he missed Mimosa who had already left.
